Day 6: First Death

First Character Death? How did you handle it?

When I started playing pickup games with like-minded friends, the GM was out to get you. TPK was not uncommon and the more gruesome or cool the death, the better the bragging rights! 

What we did about it? We eagerly grabbed the dice and a clean piece of paper and started rolling up a new character. Wasn't that half the fun?
